FASTEST qualifier Crimson Vixen has been installed a $2.80 favourite with bookmaker Bet365 to win this Friday night's $47,000 to-the-winner Group 2 Triple M Bendigo Cup (425m).

A sizzling 23.54 heat winner last week, posting a remarkable 6.38 first split, the Norm McCullagh-trained speedster is eyeing a breakthrough country cup victory, after finishing third to Dyna Patty in the Warrnambool Cup back in May.

The daughter of Barcia Bale has drawn ideally in box two for Friday's showpiece finale but is facing a stellar cast of one-turn sprinters, with second favourite for the event Rocky Crisafi's exceptional 23.77 heat winner Jebrynah.
