BOBBY Unleashed takes on a 1-3 Win Final (350m) at Grafton on Tuesday night and the dog is on a mission in memory of his owner Josh Bevan.

Only a few weeks ago, Josh, 28, was fishing off the rocks near Iluka when he was swept into the ocean and drowned.

He hit his head and drowned leaving partner Elora and sons Logan and Elijah.

FIELDS AND FORM GRAFTON TUESDAY

Trainer Steve Keep and his partner Shannon immediately set about fund raising for the family and one raffle turned into 21.

"We raised $4605 for the family and we are hoping Bobby Unleashed can add to that at Grafton on Tuesday night," said Keepie.

The son of Beast Unleashed and Isla's Style was resuming from an injury enforced spell when second in his heat last week beaten a length-and-a-half by Hot Rio Nights.

He has now raced six times for two wins at Grafton and Keep says he is well boxed in the eight for the final.

"He's an above average dog," said Keepie.

"Josh was a great fella. He came to Capalaba when the dog made his race debut back in October last year and Elora came too.

"Josh didn't tell her they were going to the dogs."

Keepie and a bunch of locals provided prizes for the raffles to help Josh's family including Scott and Amanda Braund who run the canteen at Grafton.

"The Braunds provided a bar fridge for the raffle and it was won by Tom Tzouvelis," said Keepie.

"This is an above average race dog and let's hope he can win in memory of Josh."

The Keep kennel has four runners in the final, Grand Perfection, Expert Quality, Lucky colour and Bobby Unleashed.
