PAM and Paul Braddon head off to Dubbo again on Saturday with a 318m Maiden final to win confident one of their three finalists can achieve the feat.

The Braddons produced three first starters in the heats at Dubbo on Tuesday and all three won, littermates Flying Express and Thomas Express (Pindari Express-Hope's A Chance) and Nate's Fury (Feral Franky-Flaming Fury).

“All three are showing very good ability and potential,” said Paul.

“Thomas Express is a long way the best at this stage.”

He showed that in his heat win running 18.18, easily the quickest of the heats.

“All the way through their education he has shown he has a very bright future,” said Paul.

The Hope's A Chance pair are the second litter of the bitch, the first by Aston Dee Bee that includes outstanding sprinters Apollo Speed (22 wins, $65,000), Digger's Magic (21 wins, $40,000), Clare A Chance (16 wins, $35,000) and Special Star (13 wins, $31,000) etc.

Apollo Speed won the inaugural running of the Goulburn Fireball in 2022.

“I think Thomas Express will be more a 450 metre to 500 metre dog as he progresses,” said Paul.

“More distance than the first litter.”

He rates Flying Express hard to toss from her favourable two box.

“She has drawn really well for the final,” said Paul.

“And I expect her to improve a lot from the heat win. There is not much between all three.”

The Braddons have a “wrap” for the Pindari Express progeny another in the litter, Darius Express winning two of his three starts to date.

Paul and Pam were surprised by Nate's Fury.

“He is boxed hard for the final but he went well in the heat (he ran 18.30),” said Paul.

Nate's Fury is by Feral Franky from former Dubbo Greyhound of the Year Flaming Fury.

Dubbo skipper, Shayne Stiff, has two finalist in the Maiden, Clint Keeping and Superior Panama-Hope Keeping littermate Isaah Keeping.

“Shayne's dogs are always hard to beat around Dubbo,” said Paul Braddon.
